世光（SEESALT）在推动全球范围内的教育公平时发现，最需要帮助的恰恰是我们自己的家乡。我们的创始团队——从黑龙江边境进入北大历史系的蔡炳欣、从小城拿下生物奥赛金牌的熊沁菲——都曾因某个契机被"看见"。但更多孩子仍困在资源匮乏的角落。
霁虹书院是SEESALT旗下唯一的盈利性机构。盈利不是目的，可持续才是：收入一部分支撑世光的公益运作，一部分回馈原生社区的教育项目。"霁虹"意为雨过天晴后的彩虹——我们都淋过那场雨，现在想为他人撑起一片晴空。
Our Founding Story
While SEESALT promoted educational equity globally, we realized the greatest need was in our own backyards. Our founding team—Bingxin Cai, who transitioned from Jixi to the PKU Department of History, and Qinfei Xiong, who rose from a small city to the International Biology Olympiad Gold—were the lucky ones who got "seen." Millions more remain invisible.
IRIS is SEESALT's only for-profit venture. We offer affordable rates to tier-3/4 city families, serving as "giving-back rates" for our mentors. Profit isn't the goal; sustainability is. Revenue partially funds SEESALT's nonprofit work and returns to support community education projects. "IRIS" means rainbow goddess—we've all been through that storm, and now we're creating clearer skies for others.

In Greek mythology, the rainbow is the path the messenger IRIS paved to connect heaven and the earth. We believe talent is like a rainbow after rain—already present in every sky, just waiting for the right moment to appear. Jihong Academy isn't about "creating elites" but recognizing and illuminating the light that already exists within each student. What changes destinies isn't differences in talent, but whether someone is seen, believed in, and given opportunity. Now it's our turn to be those who see.

In tier-3/4 cities, one wrong Gaokao application can alter a child's entire future. We've seen too many regrets: high-scorers missing ideal majors due to information gaps, talented students choosing wrong paths from not knowing themselves. Jihong Academy's AI Guidance System uses millions of historical data points and machine learning to generate personalized plans—from subject selection through university majors to career mapping. In China, subject competitions are the golden path for ordinary students to reach top universities, but tier-3/4 cities severely lack competition training resources. While first-tier city students begin systematic training in middle school, small-town students often don't discover competitions until Grade 11. National team members and gold medalists lead IRIS's competition team. We've walked this path and know every critical milestone. Personalized Tutoring - Connecting Gaokao Champions with Local Students
Connecting top scorers with small-city students—this is IRIS's simplest yet most effective service. Our tutors aren't "prodigies"; they were ordinary high school students too: Xinyue Hong scored 697 entering Tsinghua, knowing how every point was earned; Bingxin Cai scored 646 entering Peking University, with unique techniques for humanities; Tianshuo Wang nearly maxed physics/math, though his middle school grades were average.
One-on-one tutoring's greatest value isn't knowledge transfer—anyone can read textbooks—but methods and mindset. How to jump from 500 to 600? Final three months sprint strategy? Managing breakdown moments? These experiences outvalue any study guide. Our price is half of the market price, because we remember being students who couldn't afford expensive cram schools. We offer group sessions and half-price trial classes, because we believe you only know if it fits after trying.
