ABOUT US · PLAYLIST
Your loneliness will receive a reply.
你的孤独会收到回信。
Thirty-three songs dealt as a spread: twenty-two for how the world runs, eleven for what to do about it. Built in July 2026 as a leaving gift for a child in the family — child-sized doses, but no substitutions. Every track is something the person who assembled it actually listens to, which is why it has since become his own rotation.
Three rules governed the build. The depths are allowed, but they must arrive wearing lights. No song that faces only its own loneliness gets in. And the bedrock is handed over before the midnight, never after.
DECK I · THE MAJOR ARCANA
How the world runs.
Positions I through XXI in order, with the Fool dealt last rather than first — in this arrangement the journey is completed and then immediately begun again. The disc on each card is the moon, waxing to the midnight card and waning out of it.
Rubia
Zhou Shen · Honkai Impact 3rdWill turned into fact. It also calls out for a second voice, which the next card answers.
tone
AimerThe voice behind the curtain replies and the duet is established — a damaged voice offering company to whoever is alone.
光の涯 (Hikari no Hate)
SUGIZO feat. Aina the EndBirth and rebirth as one cycle. The deck’s first mention of death and its first refusal to fear anything both land here.
细雨洒落群山
Daniel Ho with Paiwan elders, TaiwuOrder as inheritance: an old song carried down by elders rather than issued by anyone.
Akatombo (Red Dragonfly)
arr. hideyuki hashimotoA nursery song taught for a century, with a Schumann phrase hiding inside it. Teaching is mostly transmission.
红 / Kurenai
Misa JohnouchiErhu. Red. Union.
Aqua
Ryuichi Sakamoto · OpusWater advancing. Movement itself as the exercise of will.
the path
Shiro SagisuStrength here is endurance, not conquest — a pilgrim’s prayer rather than a victory. Cut once and restored; the cut was a misreading.
地垠 (Edge of the Earth)
Eri SugaiThe far edge of the land, walked alone with a lamp.
Ebudæ
EnyaA round that does not advance, only turns. The gear that sends the whole journey inward and downward.
纯爱のテーマ (Theme of Pure Love)
Huang Yong-canPurity used as a measuring stick.
How Can I Keep from Singing?
EnyaCalm inside suspension — the hymn that says no storm reaches the innermost quiet. Placed deliberately before the descent: the rock is handed over first.
トリル / Trill (starless night ver.)
AimerTransformation, not ending. A child counts days at midnight while memory ties two voices into a trill that never breaks. The deepest point of the spread is a lullaby, and that is the entire design.
attack音D
Hiroyuki Sawano · Attack on TitanTwo cups pouring into each other: brutality as the arrangement, children’s voices as the melody. The choir keeps singing through the advance.
Moon
Yoko Kanno · Turn A GundamBuried history. What binds people is usually their own past.
EARth
Hiroyuki Sawano · HathawayLightning aimed at a system, and the execution of the person who aimed it. Acting while knowing the outcome.
from sunset…
Hiroyuki SawanoThe first star after the tower falls: a dying girl singing at sunset. Hope arrives before dawn does, not after.
锦彩之梦
HOYO-MiX · Genshin Impact · English title to be confirmedBrocade dreams and illusion. The middle stretch of a long night.
A LETTER
Cyua · Gundam UCA letter written to oneself: the light appears on the writer first, then is handed to the listener. Grammatically a sunrise, and the pivot of the whole spread.
i do
Ilaria Graziano · Ghost in the Shell S.A.C. 2nd GIGThe horn sounds and the dead stand up — surfacing from the bottom, returning with a new identity.
初恋 / Hatsukoi (First Love)
Eri SugaiCompletion. On the child’s side of this spread, the World card is sweet.
Storms in Africa (Part II)
EnyaFinished, and immediately setting out again — over the edge and into the weather, with no estimate of the distance.
DECK II · THE ORACLE
What to do about it.
Eleven cards, read in sequence as one instruction: wander, fall silent, remember, be held, stay human, hear your own heart, come home, give something up, look up, bloom anyway, and be blessed.
星际流浪 (Interstellar Drifting)
Ho Chen-chen · The Little PrinceHe leaves his own planet. Leaving is how you learn to come back.
远方的寂静 (Silence in the Distance)
Lin HaiPiano walking out to where there are no voices. Some answers only appear in quiet.
Tales From the Snow Mountain 山巅雪国的记忆
Yu-Peng Chen & HOYO-MiX · The Shimmering Voyage, 2021A kingdom executed by heaven and frozen into the permafrost, still audible under the ice thousands of years later. Whatever is remembered has not disappeared. This position was originally Forgiveness; it was changed, because forgiveness is what a god does and memory is what people can do for each other.
Where Tender Night Embraceth Thee 银花玉鉴逐人来
HOYO-MiX · Lantern RitePlayed several hundred times through the spring of 2026, across two decisions that pointed in different directions — one door offering a name, the other offering to catch you. The one that catches you is the one on this card.
VOH ft. Takeshi Saito
Kevin Penkin · Made in AbyssA human voice from the deepest layer. Where everything eats people, something human still sounds.
心声 (Voice of the Heart)
Huang Yong-canSit down and let your own heart say one thing.
讃歌〜種山ヶ原へ (Hymn — To the Taneyama Highland)
HimekamiSung in an invented language for the highland in Iwate the composer never left. The country you set out from has been singing you the whole time.
Cartridge Tears, become the White Whistle
Kevin Penkin · Made in AbyssThe whistle that lets you keep descending is made from someone you loved. Some love turns into an instrument inside your body.
空动的无限星
HOYO-MiX · English title to be confirmedLook up. You are not a lamp; you are a field of stars.
野玫瑰 (Wild Rose)
Shao RongAngelus Silesius: the rose is without why. It blooms because it blooms. Beauty does not require a permit.
If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking 使一颗心免于哀伤
Robin, HOYO-MiX & Chevy · INSIDE, 2024The title comes from Dickinson, 1864: if you can stop one heart from breaking, you have not lived for nothing. In the thirty-two cards before it every “I” is a giver; here the first person finally belongs to the dreamer. All the adults leave the stage, and the last voice is a girl the same age as the listener.
KEPT BACK
Four that did not get in, and are still in rotation.
A deck is defined by what it excludes. These were ruled out as too concentrated for a child’s dose — which makes them, precisely, the assembler’s own winter coat.
- Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet · Gavin BryarsTwenty-five minutes of ritual mourning, above the safety line for this deck. Its core — a person with nothing who is nonetheless certain of being loved — went instead to the Enya hymn at XII, which does the same work in four and a half minutes.
- von · Yoko Kanno with Arnór DanIcelandic for hope, sung over the burial of two boys. Hope as a posthumous matter is too cold for a child.
- Sternengesang · CyuaThe cosmic version of XIX. A first step into space should begin at the bedside, not outside time.
- Da Capo · 春暖花开去见你The two farewell songs with play counts in the high hundreds. One is a fossilised goodbye; the other is the only song here that names a date for coming back. Both stay in the luggage.
However it is drawn, the last card is the same.
The deck runs in three tenses. Now: a child hears melodies and is let in gently, without being asked to understand. In ten years: she recognises one of them inside her own life, and a card turns over. Much later: the tower comes down, and the antibodies are already in place — the lullaby at midnight, the rock at the hanged man, the letter at sunrise, and a final card that reads the same however it is drawn.
The universe trends toward dispersal. Some sounds run the other way and call the scattered things back, one at a time. Every part of this machine is that kind of sound.
Companion pages: what plays while the work gets done, and a spread of thirty-three about development itself, built on this one’s logic.
